Marigold is a beautiful Spring+Summer hue recently made popular by First Lady Michelle Obama. This color combo was almost an accident. I pulled on the J. Crew trousers, then walked around in a bra for a while before the cobalt blue inspiration came to me. The blue hue is stunning. It has similarities to royal blue but it’s richer and has a little more punch, which I love!
Color blocking allows you to add prints, pattern and texture to your look. I styled this stepped up casual look with a animal print skinny belt, a chalk statement necklace and sand strappy sandals. The hues in the belt and sandals finish the rest of the ensemble.
