Join the 16th Annual Trash Makeover Challenge! This is a unique fashion show competition where designers create runway-ready garments out of at least 90% recycled or reused materials.
This year’s theme is Cosmic Couture where you can journey to a galaxy where fashion meets sustainability and inspiration is drawn from the vast beauty of the universe!
The evening is complete with a live and silent auction, delicious food and drinks, and the chance to meet and hear from environmental leaders. It’s one of Austin’s most creative and inspiring events, and you won’t want to miss it!
The Trash Makeover Challenge is Austin’s premiere eco-fashion runway show featuring original designs made from 90% or more recycled or repurposed materials. All proceeds benefit Texas Campaign for the Environment, supporting the fight for clean air, clean water, and clean communities across our state.
Lifestyle Austin TX’s host Catenya McHenry is serving as one of this year’s judges.
