Curated by Future Front, the Front Festival is an end-of-summer community festival, featuring independent music, film and art in Austin, Texas. Elevating Texas women and LGBTQ+ artists at the front of its lineups, everyone is welcome.
Run by and for artists, The Front Festival has welcomed 15,000+ guests and showcased 500+ independent artists, filmmakers and musicians in Texas since 2016, alongside global names like Dorian Electra, Jessica Williams, Lizzo, Alok V. Menon, Madame Gandhi, Juliana Huxtable, La Goony Chonga and Katja Blichfeld.
Over the weekend’s music and film showcases, a portion of all ticket sales fundraise for Future Front’s commissions and micro-grants. To date, more than $20,000 in micro-grants have been distributed since 2020.
