Style How To: ReStyle Your Kitchen Pantry

There are occasions when I hit a wall of frustration from disorganization. This time, it was my pantry that needed a major organization overhaul + Restyle. It was cluttered with food boxes, which consume an enormous amount of space and bottles of random things that were all scattered about. Our pantry has ample storage and shelving but the space wasn’t being utilized in the most efficient and smart way. Much like my closet, clutter doesn’t work. I needed grouping and I needed to see what was there. Transparency+ glass also make a huge difference. I raided Home Goods, one of my favorites for home decor. The entire haul cost less than $40.

I knew for sure I wanted wire baskets, in varying design details but in a sleek and modern color palette- chrome, black and twine. I was also on the hunt for glass jars- for display effect. I found exactly what I wanted. I love the copper tops- some plain and others with a graduated beveled shape. The entire overhaul took about 15 minutes. I pulled everything out of the pantry and then dumped all the contents out of their box. Once I organized+ regrouped all the food, I put everything back into individual baskets.

Now the pantry has style and it’s easy to find a midnight snack or school lunch.
