Created by James Beard Award-winner Aaron Franklin, Guerilla Suit principal and Mohawk owner James Moody, and Mike Thelin, co-founder of Feast Portland, Hot Luck is a DIY casserole of the culinary and music world. In 2026, Hot Luck joined People Inc.’s growing portfolio of live food and culture events. Hot Luck is proud to benefit the Southern Smoke Foundation, who provides financial support to food and beverage workers when its most needed.
With music and food events spread across the weekend at various venues, the Festival provides the perfect hot food and music sampling from a mix of top chefs, headlined by an overall award-winning experience for a good cause.
