Paring prints is a fantastic fashion experiment. It may seem unorthodox and plain wrong but as long as the various hues in your pieces are similar, it’s a style match. As I was exiting The Gap one Saturday afternoon, I spotted the floral dress. The fluid striped tee was nearby, so I decided to take charge and insert a quick style shift- ball -change and voila!
Style Flip: Both pieces are incredibly versatile and can take on several new looks. The striped tee can later be styled with a pair of denims and polished off with a black, white or navy blazer and finished with a plaid scarf. The dress can be casual or dressed up, paired with a white tee or crisp white oxford shirt underneath and a cropped jacket. You can also style a Bella Dahl chambray shirt underneath. In the spring or summer, shed the tee underneath and bare your arms.
