DECOR: RePurposed Pieces- From BookShelf To Bubbly

My favorite stories are the ones you stumble upon just by asking questions. A recent trip to the Torrance Bakery in California turned into a vintage market shopping excursion. My aunt and I had no idea we were walking the streets of the Torrance Antique Street Faire when we emerged from the bakery, doused in the sweet fragrances of butter and fondant. Vintage markets are on my list of favorite things! Top five on that same list is repurposed anything.

You can imagine my joy+excitement when we saw these intricately designed mermaid blue beauties that were each repurposed and brought back to life by Denise and her husband Peter at P&D Antiques. WATCH.

Once all the books were read, it was time to toss them and instead, drink up. Denise repurposed a bookshelf and restyled it into a bar table. “You can never have too many bar things,” said Denise.
